Ewoudt Boonstra

is art director-at-large, designer and film director.
He is currently working at Sid Lee Amsterdam.

At his former job, in a place called KesselsKramer, he dreamt up communication for the likes of
J&B, SNS Bank, Protest, The Hans Brinker Budget Hotel and the ghetto-tech band Le Le.
His cultural projects included Radio on TV (VPRO), Kijkers (VPRO) and Het Beeldinstituut (De Volkskrant).

Ewoudt also makes books.
His most recent publications include Bad Food Gone Worse, a book about faded food photography,
and Anonymous, a book that explores the visual world of anonymity.

Ewoudt is happily married, has two children and is a very competitive amateur ping-pong enthusiast.

Ewoudt used to believe he was a carrot.
Now he thinks he is a watermelon.
If you meet Ewoudt do not make the mistake of calling him a carrot.
This will anger him and result in 2 to 7 minutes of awkward silence.
Tell him he is a handsome watermelon and you will have made a friend for life.

Good luck.
